Bethany Susan Kazaba

Bethany Kazaba is one of three Co-Founders and Managing Principal of Neighborhood Retail Group. A graduate of University of Delaware and licensed real estate professional in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia, she worked with JBGR Retail and as national advertising sales manager for Hanley Wood LLC’s Consumer Media Group prior to founding Neighborhood Retail Group. Bethany was the recipient of the 2016 Women in Retail Real Estate Founders Award—demonstrating selfless dedication to the ongoing success of the organization—and recently named one of nine top innovators in the Washington, DC area by DC Modern Luxury. In 2016 alone, Bethany will have opened more than 50 new business locations for and on behalf of her clients.

Tom Borger

Tom Borger is one of three Co-Founders and Principals of Neighborhood Retail Group as well as Chairman of Borger Management, Inc. A graduate of Georgetown University, Tom served as an officer in the US Marine Corps. As a licensed real estate broker in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia he has a long history of active involvement in the industry and legislative processes that impact real estate throughout the DC Metropolitan area. He served as President of the Apartment and Office Building Association (AOBA) of Metropolitan Washington and President of the Washington DC Association of Realtors. Tom has testified before the DC Council and served on commissions and panels regarding rent control and housing issues and was recently appointed a Trustee of the Federal City Council.

Joe Borger

Joe Borger is one of three Co-Founders and Principals of Neighborhood Retail Group and President of Borger Management, Inc. Receiving his Certified Property Management designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1982, he is a licensed real estate broker in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. Joe has extensive experience in the renovation and repositioning of retail and commercial properties including strip shopping centers, historic commercial townhomes, office buildings and mixed-use Multifamily Housing properties throughout the DC Metropolitan area.

Kristen Page Emond

Kristen Page Emond is a Retail Strategy Associate with Neighborhood Retail Group. A graduate of New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Fine Art and Italian, she cultivated valuable brand management and marketing skills working with LVMH, Moët Hennessy. In 2014 she relocated to Washington DC to attend Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, focusing on public policy and brand management. Now the recipient of an MBA and licensed in Washington, DC and Maryland, Kristen brings creative marketing and analytical skill sets to the challenging world of retail leasing.

Dana Nebinski

Dana Nebinski is a Retail Strategy Associate at Neighborhood Retail Group. A graduate of the University of South Carolina she received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Journalism with a minor in Psychology. Prior work experience with real estate development and retail services firms including Bozzuto Management Company, Transwestern Commercial Services and Newmark Grubb Knight Frank fueled her passion for exploring groundbreaking retail concepts. Dana is a licensed real estate broker in both Washington, DC and Virginia.
