Bethany Susan Kazaba
Initially one of three Co-Founders of commercial real estate firm Neighborhood Retail Group (NRG), Bethany Kazaba became CEO and managing principal of NRG in 2017. Kazaba and her team focus solely on servicing the unique demands of the retail sector from development and management to marketing and branding. Opening more than 60 new business locations annually for and on behalf of their clients, NRG’s portfolio includes fitness concepts, bakeries, restaurants, health and beauty shops, pet care centers, swim schools, burger franchises, urgent care centers and more (www.neighborhoodretailgroup.com). Kazaba is one of five Co-Founders of the Washington, DC Restaurant Brain Trust and President elect for 2017/2018 of Women in Retail Real Estate (WIRRE). Prior to founding NRG Kazaba worked with JBGR Retail and as National Advertising Sales Manager for Hanley Wood LLC’s Consumer Media Group. A proud mom of two amazing daughters, she is a graduate of University of Delaware and licensed real estate professional in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.
As Retail Strategy Associate at Neighborhood Retail Group (NRG), Dana Nebinski supports the firm’s business development and partnership initiatives, helping shape NRG’s ever-expanding client portfolio. Growing up in Northern Virginia and currently residing in downtown DC, Nebinski's in-tune with the constant changing retail real estate market. She is a licensed real estate salesperson in both Washington, DC, and Virginia, an active member of Women in Retail Real Estate (WIRRE) and active member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Recent tenant clients Nebinski has partnered with include Title Boxing Club, Sweat DC and Republik Coffee Bar. Prior work experience with real estate development and retail service firms including Bozzuto Management Company, Transwestern Commercial Services, and Newmark Grubb Knight Frank fueled her passion for exploring groundbreaking retail concepts. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Journalism with a minor in Psychology.
Joy Carol Cotting
As Executive Assistant to the CEO and Leasing Coordinator at Neighborhood Retail Group (NRG), Joy Carol Cotting supports the NRG team in managing the firm's daily operations and streamlining all leasing transactions. She’s an active member of Women in Retail Real Estate (WIRRE) and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Cotting’s professional career has always touched upon the real estate and retail sectors; coupled with a passion for the health and fitness industry. A former collegiate volleyball and lacrosse player, she started her career in residential leasing and property management for Krupp Realty (acquired by Berkshire Realty Holdings, LP), managing several properties and overseeing ongoing renovations. Additional professional experience includes serving as Director of the Personal Training Department at both Bally’s Total Fitness and Lifetime Fitness, Assistant Manager at White House Black Market and The North Face as well as Production Coordinator in the residential remodeling industry.
Cotting attended Bridgewater College with a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, this Maryland native, wife and mother of three is excited to continue her career in the retail real estate industry by joining the NRG team.
